A phone exploded in a schoolgirl's hands near Moscow

In Ramenskoye, a mobile phone connected to a charger exploded right in the hands of a 15-year-old schoolgirl. This incident was confirmed by the Ministry of Health of the Moscow region.
According to the department, at the moment of the explosion, the girl was actively using the gadget. The device unexpectedly overheated and exploded while in the teenager's hands.
Thanks to her father's quick reaction, the victim was immediately taken to a medical facility. Doctors diagnosed the schoolgirl with serious injuries: third-degree burns on both hands, as well as first and second-degree burns on her forearms.
Currently, the victim's condition is assessed as satisfactory. The girl is undergoing a course of antibacterial therapy and regular dressing changes. Medical professionals plan to discharge the patient home soon.
