A new Security Council secretary has been appointed in Iran following the death of Larijani
In Iran, Mohammad-Bagher Zolghadr has been appointed as the new Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council following the death of Ali Larijani as a result of a military conflict.
As reported by BAKU.WS citing RIA Novosti, the personnel changes were announced by the Deputy Head of the Iranian Presidential Administration for Public Relations, Mohammad-Mehdi Tabatabaei.
"Taking into account the opinion and with the consent of the Supreme Leader of Iran, by a decree of the President of Iran, Mohammad-Bagher Zolghadr has been appointed as the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council," the official wrote on social media.
