Actor Robert Pattinson stated that he would like to play the eternally young vampire Edward Cullen again in a potential continuation of the vampire saga "Twilight."

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to foreign media, he said this during a joint video interview with Jennifer Lawrence for Vanity Fair.

When Lawrence asked about possibly returning to the role of Cullen, Pattinson responded affirmatively. Lawrence doubted that it was a good idea.

"I like taking roles away from young actors. Yes, I want to play a 17-year-old again," says the 39-year-old artist.

The film "Twilight," based on Stephenie Meyer's novel of the same name about vampires, werewolves, and humans, was released in November 2008. The main roles were played by Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. In total, five films were released in the "Twilight" series from 2008 to 2012, collecting more than three billion dollars at the worldwide box office.
