Photos of iPhone 17 Pro in the hands of a tester have been leaked online

Alleged photos of the iPhone 17 Pro in the hands of a tester spotted on the street of an unnamed city have appeared online. The images were published by an X user with the nickname @Skyfops, the authenticity of which was soon confirmed by insider and Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman.

"I just spotted a test iPhone," said @Skyfops in his message. One of the images shows a person wearing sunglasses, holding a smartphone enclosed in a black protective case, presumably hiding the design of the future iPhone. Next to it is another device that visually resembles an iPhone 16 Pro, with a sticker likely used by Apple to identify test specimens.

The fact that the tester is holding an iPhone 17 Pro is indicated by two holes in the upper right corner of the back panel, corresponding to the location of the flash and LiDAR in numerous previously published renders. Thus, the design of the iPhone 17 Pro can be considered definitively confirmed - the gadget will feature a horizontal rectangular camera bump.

Apple traditionally presents new iPhone models in early autumn - the premiere of the iPhone 17 Pro is expected in September.
