Non-obvious symptoms of bladder cancer identified

Renowned oncologist Enrique Grande described the symptoms that may signal the development of bladder cancer. In an interview with El Español, the specialist detailed both obvious and subtle signs of this dangerous disease.
Dr. Grande classified the presence of blood in urine, painful sensations, and burning during urination as obvious symptoms of bladder cancer. These manifestations are considered classic and most common for this disease. However, there are also less obvious signs that people often don't pay proper attention to. Among them, the specialist highlighted frequent urination and repeated urges to go to the bathroom immediately after emptying the bladder.
The oncologist particularly emphasized that the presence of these symptoms is not a definitive confirmation of an oncological process. Similar signs are characteristic of many other diseases, including urinary tract infections, kidney stones, traumatic injuries, autoimmune pathologies, and blood clotting disorders. Nevertheless, Grande strongly recommends not delaying a visit to the doctor when alarming symptoms appear. According to the specialist, timely diagnosis of bladder cancer significantly increases the chances of successful treatment and patient survival.
