Doctors have noticed a connection between aging and phone use among young people
Doctors noticed a connection between aging and phone usage among youth.
As reported by BAKU.WS, the corresponding article was published by the New York Post (NYP).
According to dermatologist Helen He, constantly bending the head while using computers, phones, and other technical devices leads to the faster appearance of wrinkles and sagging skin on the neck. The expert emphasized that this problem is currently most common among young people.
"Usually in middle-aged and young patients, we see deeper wrinkles on the front of the neck due to sun exposure combined with the need to bend over to look at devices," her colleague Jacob Beer agreed.
To prevent early signs of aging, the experts advised maintaining proper posture while working. "It's necessary to use a gentle cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen. Other beneficial ingredients for topical application include retinoids, peptides, hyaluronic acid, and antioxidants such as vitamins C and E," the doctors concluded.
