A doctor described hour by hour the changes in the body after giving up sugar

Famous Spanish cardiologist Dr. Jose Abellan presented a detailed timeline of positive changes in the body after giving up sugar and ultra-processed foods. In an interview with the popular publication Vanitatis, the specialist described the impressive results that can be observed within the first day.
"If you gave up ultra-processed foods and sugar, your blood pressure would become slightly lower within 24 hours," noted Abellan. According to him, blood glucose levels will stabilize after 48 hours.
After a few days, bloating will decrease and digestion will improve overall, the doctor added. After a week, the general inflammation level in the body will decrease, and after three weeks, cholesterol levels will begin to normalize. From the sixth week, cognitive abilities and mood will improve, and within three months, positive changes can be observed in all test results, the doctor emphasized.
