World Cup 2026: Today Azerbaijan national team will meet with Iceland in the qualifying stage

Today the Azerbaijan national football team will play their next match in the qualifying round of the 2026 World Cup.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the team under the guidance of head coach Aykhan Abbasov will host the Iceland national team in Baku.

The match at the stadium in the 8th kilometer settlement will begin at 21:00. The game will be officiated by FIFA referee Nikola Dabanovic from Montenegro.

In another group match, France will host Ukraine. The game will start at 23:45.
