The opponents of "Neftchi" in the UEFA Conference League have been determined

11 of the 26 potential opponents of Azerbaijani football club Neftchi in the 2026/27 UEFA Conference League season have been determined.

As Oxu.Az reports, the capital's representative will start in this prestigious continental tournament from the very beginning — the first qualifying round.

Currently, the list of opponents for the team coached by head coach Yuriy Vernydub includes the following clubs: Stjarnan (Iceland), Europa (Gibraltar), Inter (Finland), Yelimay (Kazakhstan), Hegelmann (Lithuania), Penybont (Wales), NSÍ Runavík (Faroe Islands), Glentoran (Northern Ireland), Marsaxlokk (Malta), Nõmme Kalju (Estonia), and Caernarfon Town (Wales).

It should be noted that the draw for the first round of the Conference League will take place on June 16. The matches of this stage will be held on July 9–16.
