The opening ceremony of the World Futsal Championship took place in Baku

The opening ceremony of the World Minifootball Championship was held in Baku.

As Report informs, the event was attended by the president of the Azerbaijan Minifootball Federation (AMF) Orkhan Mammadov, the president of the World Minifootball Federation Philip Juda and other officials.

First, the National Anthem of Azerbaijan was played.

Then various musical shows took place. The freestyle world champion, Frenchman Arnaud Garnier, attracted attention with his stage performance. Later, the famous Turkish singer Aleyna Tilki and People's Artist of Azerbaijan Aygun Kazimova performed their songs.

It should be noted that five tournament games have already been played. France defeated Chad (1:0), Portugal defeated Bulgaria (3:1), England defeated Ukraine (4:0), Slovakia defeated India (15:0). Hungary and Turkey played to a draw - 1:1.

The Mundial will end on June 1.
