The 2026 FIFA World Cup round of 16 match between Canada and Morocco has taken place.

The game was held at NRG Stadium in Houston, USA, and ended with a 3-0 victory for Morocco.

Among the winners, midfielder Azzedine Ounahi scored a brace in the 50th and 82nd minutes, while forward Sofiane Rahimi also found the net (90+8). In the 22nd minute of the match, Morocco midfielder Ismael Saibari was substituted due to an injury.

In the quarterfinals of the tournament, the Moroccan team will face the winner of the Paraguay vs. France match.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup is being held in the USA, Canada, and Mexico from June 11 to July 19. The reigning world champions are Argentina.
