The draw for the futsal World Cup, which will be held in Azerbaijan, has taken place

The draw ceremony for the World Futsal Championship, which will be organized by the World Minifootball Federation (WMF) in Azerbaijan, has taken place.
As Oxu.Az reports, the 32 teams that will participate in the fifth World Cup were divided into 4 pots.
The Azerbaijan national team (head coach - Elshad Guliyev), considered one of the tournament favorites, was placed in pot I along with the teams of Romania, Kazakhstan, Serbia, Hungary, Mexico, Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Pot II included Bulgaria, Montenegro, USA, France, Ukraine, Georgia, Mauritania, Ghana, while pot III contained England, Portugal, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Thailand, UAE, Chad, Spain and Slovenia. Poland, India, Turkey, Costa Rica, Israel, Bahrain, Uzbekistan and Argentina were placed in pot IV.
The draw for pot I was conducted by Gurban Gurbanov. Rashad Sadygov drew the balls for pot II, and Seymur Mamedov for pot III. The draw for pot IV was conducted by world football star, Portuguese player Luis Nani.

Group A: Azerbaijan, Mauritania, Slovenia, Bahrain;
Group B: Romania, France, Chad, Uzbekistan;
Group C: Hungary, Ukraine, England, Turkey;
Group D: Slovakia, Bulgaria, Portugal, India;
Group E: Mexico, Montenegro, Thailand, Costa Rica;
Group F: Kazakhstan, USA, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Poland;
Group G: Czech Republic, Georgia, UAE, Argentina;
Group H: Serbia, Ghana, Spain, Israel.
The tournament will be held in Baku from May 21 to June 1.
Note that Romania is the current world champion.
