The Azerbaijan national team completed the Islamic Games with 59 medals

The VI Islamic Solidarity Games, which took place in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, have concluded.

As reported by BAKU.WS, with reference to Oxu.Az, Azerbaijani athletes won four more medals on the final day of competition.

As a result of the tournament, the Azerbaijani team has 59 medals, of which 9 are gold, 19 are silver, and 31 are bronze. With this result, our country took 10th place in the overall medal count.

Turkey took first place, Uzbekistan came second, and Iran third.

In total, athletes from 57 countries participated in the Islamic Games.
