Simura Abdullayeva began her performance at the U-17 World Championship in Baku with a defeat

Azerbaijani athlete Simura Abdullayeva suffered a defeat in her first bout at the U-17 World Championships in Baku.

As Report informs, in the 1/8 finals in the weight category up to 69 kg, Abdullayeva lost to Kyrgyzstan's representative Milana Ulanova with a score of 6:10.

The World Championships is being held at the National Gymnastics Arena. Around 700 young wrestlers from more than 60 countries are participating in the competition. Azerbaijan is represented by 29 athletes.
