"Real" announced the name of the new head coach

Real Madrid announced the name of the new head coach, as stated on the team's website.

The position was taken by Xabi Alonso, who defended Real Madrid's colors from 2009 to 2014. The contract is valid until June 2028.

Since October 2022, Alonso has been managing German Bayer Leverkusen. Under his leadership, the club became the champion of Germany, as well as the winner of the Cup and Super Cup of the country.
