Argentina and Inter Miami forward Lionel Messi candidly spoke about his future plans, admitting his desire to play in the 2026 World Cup. This information was shared by Inter Miami News Hub on social media platform X.

"As I've said before, I'm focused on the present, but I would be lying if I said I wasn't thinking about the World Cup. Yes, I think about it. This year will be key in making a decision about my future. I want to find the right rhythm, gain consistency," shared the star footballer.

The upcoming World Cup will take place next summer across three North American countries - USA, Mexico, and Canada. The tournament's final match is scheduled for July 19.
