Huseyn Rzazade lost to an American wrestler in the second consolation round of the U-17 World Championship

Azerbaijani freestyle wrestler Huseyn Rzazade suffered a defeat in the second consolation bout at the U-17 World Championship held in Baku.

As Media.az reports with reference to the Wrestling Federation, the athlete competing in the 48 kg weight category lost to Cooper Deputy of the United States with a score of 1:12 and concluded his participation in the tournament.

Azerbaijani wrestler Huseyn Rzazade, competing in the 48 kg weight category, took part in a consolation bout at the U-17 World Wrestling Championship being held in Baku.

As the Wrestling Federation reports, his opponent at this stage was Amirali Ibrahim Fazla from Iran.

The match ended in favor of the Azerbaijani athlete with a score of 9:6.

Thanks to this victory, H. Rzazade secured a place in the bronze medal bout of the tournament.

It should be recalled that the day before, he lost at the round of 16 stage to Aaryan Aaryan of India by a minimal margin - 5:6.
