Head of the Mini-Football Federation: Without state support, we would not have achieved such a result

"This is a historic event. I thank every fan. I express special gratitude to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan for the support provided to us. Without state support, we would not have achieved such a result. Our players performed flawlessly, demonstrating a high level of skill. Such a game shows that we can reach even greater heights. The victory achieved in front of our fans makes this success even more significant for us," said O. Mammadov.

According to him, the victory of our national team is an indisputable fact and a major event.

"When we became European champions, the President personally received us, which showed the significance of this achievement. At that time, serious financial support was allocated, which played an important role in our current success. The World Cup is a competition where there are no weak opponents. Taking first place among 32 national teams is a huge reason for pride. Those who want to diminish our victory can be called enemies of our country," emphasized the head of the federation.

In addition, O. Mammadov spoke about the future goals of the organization.

"Our federation is young, we face many tasks. First of all, we strive to take futsal to a new level, develop infrastructure and increase youth interest in this sport. Of course, we will also try to ensure that FIFA officials see this activity. This issue is being worked out together with the World Futsal Federation," he added.
