As Oxu.Az reports, this was stated by the head coach of Aghdam's "Qarabag" Gurban Gurbanov at a press conference before the return match against Irish "Shelbourne" in the II qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League.

"We have certain advantages. However, we will be playing against a serious opponent. Inshallah, tomorrow we will spend less energy and demonstrate a good game. The team that will advance to the next stage has not been determined yet. The return match is still ahead," G.Gurbanov emphasized.

The head coach also noted that the club intends to bring in a new striker to the squad.

"For a long time, we have been looking for a new player for the attack line. During this period, there were footballers with whom we negotiated and even reached an agreement. However, they apparently received more favorable offers and chose other teams. I am satisfied with our current forwards, but we want to strengthen the attacking line with a new transfer," he added.

According to the "horsemen's" coach, Marko Jankovic and Dani Bolt will miss the match due to injury.

"Dani will not be able to participate in the match due to injury. And whether Jankovic will play will be known tomorrow," said G.Gurbanov.

Note that the match "Qarabag" - "Shelbourne" will take place on July 30 at the Tofiq Bahramov Republican Stadium and will begin at 20:00. The first meeting, held in Dublin, ended with a 3:0 victory for "Qarabag".
