FC "Sumgayit" terminated the contract with head coach Vagif Javadov

Football club "Sumgayit" announced the termination of cooperation with the team's head coach Vagif Javadov.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the club's press service, the decision to terminate the contract was made by mutual agreement of the parties at a meeting held today.

The 35-year-old specialist took charge of "Sumgayit" last year, signing a contract for 2.5 years. However, after just one year, the parties came to a decision to end their cooperation.

It should be noted that in the last, XXXIV round of the Azerbaijan Premier League, "Sumgayit" lost to "Kapaz" with a minimal score of 0:1. Currently, the team occupies 9th place in the standings, having 30 points.
