Azerbaijan national futsal team player Mirmehdi Rzaev commented on the team's advancement to the playoffs after the victory over Mauritania.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, the footballer noted that in the first match the team simply had no luck.

"We won, but I am confident that our team is capable of more. In the first match, we just lacked luck. Fortunately, we finished the group stage in first place. I hope that in the next stages we will also achieve victories and medals," he said.

M.Rzaev emphasized the special atmosphere of the World Championship: "Becoming European champion is a special feeling. But playing at home, in front of our own fans, is a completely different emotion. It's a real pleasure. I thank everyone who supports us."
