AFFA President congratulated "Sabah" on winning the Azerbaijan Cup
President of the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) Rovshan Najaf congratulated FC Sabah on winning the Azerbaijan Football Cup for the 2025/2026 season.
The head of AFFA posted a corresponding publication on the social network X.
"I congratulate the club's management, coaching staff, players, and numerous fans of Sabah on winning the Azerbaijan Football Cup on behalf of AFFA and personally from myself," R. Najaf noted.
The association president emphasized that the final match against FC Zira was held in a tense and spectacular contest.
According to him, the team's determination, professionalism, and winning spirit enabled the club to achieve a well-deserved success, while the high level of play gave fans unforgettable emotions.
R. Najaf also noted that this result was the outcome of the joint efforts of the players, coaching staff, club employees, and devoted fans.
He expressed confidence that Sabah will worthily represent Azerbaijan on the international stage and achieve new successes.
As a reminder, in the Azerbaijan Cup final, Sabah defeated Zira with a score of 2:1.
