Why have cargo companies stopped importing phones to Azerbaijan?

Cargo companies have completely stopped delivering mobile phones to the country from foreign online stores.

According to e-commerce expert Nijat Manafov, the transportation of mobile phones through cargo services significantly slows down the overall process of cargo delivery. This is why it is now impossible to import mobile communication devices using cargo services.

"Recently, interest in purchasing mobile phones from abroad has significantly increased," notes Nijat Manafov. The main reason for this phenomenon is substantially lower prices compared to the domestic market.

The expert also emphasized that citizens can still freely declare and use mobile phones or tablets brought personally from abroad. The restrictions only apply to the delivery of devices through intermediary services.
