Weather forecasters on windy weather in Azerbaijan

Rainy and windy weather observed in Azerbaijan over the past week will continue until February 10.

It is snowing in Kalbajar, Lachin, Dashkesan, Gadabay, Tovuz, Sheki (Kishchay), Oghuz, Gabala, Zagatala (Alibey), while rain is falling in Tartar, Ganja, Shamkir, Shamakhi and Astara.

Light snow is also observed in Baku and some parts of the Absheron Peninsula.

There is a northwestern wind, according to the orange warning, wind speed in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula occasionally reaches 27 m/s.

According to the "Oil Rocks" station, wave height in the Caspian Sea reaches 4.8 m.

Fog is observed in Zagatala, Sheki, Shamakhi, Lerik, Dashkesan, Goygol, Shamkir, Tovuz, Agstafa, Ganja with visibility reduced to 1000 m.

Air temperature in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula is up to 2 degrees above zero, in Aran regions and Nakhchivan AR - up to 5 degrees above zero, in mountainous regions up to 5 degrees below zero, and in high mountain regions - up to 11 degrees below zero.
