Turkish airline cancels all flights to Russia

The largest Turkish air carrier Turkish Airlines has completely stopped flights to Russia from popular resort cities Dalaman, Antalya and Bodrum.
As BAKU.WS reports, this information was distributed by "RIA Novosti," citing an informed source in the tourism sector.
According to the obtained data, the cancellation affected absolutely all routes to Russian cities, including the capital Moscow. "Representatives of travel companies are urgently trying to contact the air carrier to clarify the situation," the agency's source noted.
According to the source, the likely cause of the mass flight cancellations could be numerous delays and disruptions in the operation of Russian airports. At least 16 canceled flights on the Antalya-Moscow and Antalya-St. Petersburg routes are already known. Temporary restrictions in the operation of several Russian air harbors were introduced to ensure air traffic safety, particularly on May 6 and 7. Representatives of Rosaviatsia assured that airlines are taking all necessary measures to normalize the flight schedule.
Earlier, there were reports of large-scale disruptions in the operation of Russian airports caused by drone attacks. At Moscow's Domodedovo airport, the situation led to delays of 80 flights, while another 28 were completely canceled.
