Traffic police addressed drivers and pedestrians due to bad weather

The Main Department of Road Police of Azerbaijan has appealed to road users to remain vigilant and strictly follow safety rules due to deteriorating weather conditions in the country.

The department emphasized that drivers should reduce speed, maintain safe distance, check their vehicles' condition, and if possible, avoid using vehicles with tires unsuitable for winter conditions.

Special attention is given to mountainous regions where the risk of icy roads is increased. In this regard, citizens are advised to refrain from traveling in vehicles not equipped for winter conditions, as well as in vehicles with outdated safety systems. Inexperienced drivers are advised to avoid driving on slippery road sections.

Additionally, the road police urges pedestrians to be extremely careful and consider possible hazards caused by adverse weather conditions.
