Today in Azerbaijan, over 51 thousand students took their graduation exam

Today, the State Examination Center (SEC) conducted the final exam based on general (9-year) secondary education in a number of cities and districts of Azerbaijan.

The exams were held in Baku (Khatai, Nasimi, Narimanov, Garadagh, Surakhani and Sabail districts), Ganja (first part), Samukh, Yevlakh, Gazakh, Agstafa, Sheki, Lankaran (first part), Astara, Yardymly, Agdam, Aghjabadi, Shusha, Khankendi, Khojaly, Agsu, Zardab, Ismayilli, Imishli, Shirvan, Bilasuvar, Gusar, Siyazan, Khizi and Shabran.

A total of 212 examination buildings and 3,816 examination halls were allocated in these cities and districts for the exam. 620 supervisors and general coordinators, 4,762 observers, 685 security personnel, and 212 building representatives participated in organizing the exams.

Approximately 51,237 students took part in the exam, including 60 students with disabilities (with visual impairments, cerebral palsy, hearing impairments, and other special needs). Special halls were allocated in the examination buildings to ensure their comfort, and individual observers were assigned for visually impaired persons (with 81-100% loss of bodily functions). Conditions were also created for unhindered entry and movement of students with limited mobility. Additionally, special training was conducted with observers assigned to work with this category of participants.

The SEC urges students who will participate in upcoming exams to be attentive and provide all necessary documents: an admission slip, the original identity document (students without a photo in their ID must bring, in addition to other documents, a certificate with an attached photo issued by the educational institution (a 3x4 cm photo of the student is attached to the certificate and certified with a stamp)).

According to preliminary data, 3 people were disqualified from taking the exam due to the discovery of mobile phones in their possession.

Processing of examination protocols and answer sheets will begin at the SEC from April 14. Since checking open-type tasks requiring written answers takes time, the results are planned to be announced within the next 5 weeks.

It should be noted that after completing the exam, participants were allowed to take the question booklets with them.

The correct answers to the test tasks (closed and coded open-type) used in the exam will be posted on the SEC website tomorrow during the day.
