Tiktok drug courier detained in Baku

In Binagadi, a TikToker was detained with 6 kilograms of narcotic substances during an attempted transportation.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, during an anti-drug trafficking operation conducted by officers of the Binagadi District Police Department, 28-year-old Sabukhi Balakishiev was detained. He was found with 2 kg 885 g of heroin, 1 kg 230 g of opium, and 2 kg 765 g of marijuana. S. Balakishiev confessed that he received the drugs from a citizen of a foreign country whom he met on the social network TikTok, whose identity is currently being established by the investigation.

A criminal case has been initiated, and the court has chosen detention as a preventive measure for the arrested individual.

It is noted that during recent operations in the Binagadi district, a total of 27 drug-related incidents were identified. Also, during preventive measures conducted by Binagadi district police officers among the population, citizens voluntarily surrendered 25 units of firearms to the police.
