The trial of the vice president of a French company with billion-dollar turnover has begun in Baku

In Baku, a trial has begun on a criminal case initiated by the State Security Service (SSS) against Anass Derraz, vice president of the French company SAUR with billion-dollar turnover.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, translators proficient in both English and French participated in the proceedings at the Baku Court of Serious Crimes, presided over by Judge Farid Namazov.
According to the defendant's personal data, he was born in 1984 in Morocco, is a citizen of France and Morocco, is married, has two children, and is the vice president of SAUR company registered in Dubai.
The accused filed a petition to terminate the criminal case, return it to the preliminary investigation stage, and reported that he has not been working for 11 months. He noted that his children are in Dubai, and he wants to go to his children.
