The traffic police addressed drivers

The Main Department of State Road Police (GUSDP) has issued a warning for drivers due to foggy weather. This was reported by GUSDP. The information notes that fog is currently observed not only in the regions but also in Baku and its suburbs. Especially during night and morning hours, visibility on roads is limited due to fog formed by temperature inversion. "Dense fog impedes visibility of other traffic participants and regulatory devices, therefore drivers are required to be more attentive in such weather, choose speed and distance according to weather conditions, ensure vehicles are in good working order, and strictly observe safety rules when stopping, parking, as well as during overtaking and maneuvering," the message states. "Pedestrians should also consider that in foggy weather, it is difficult for drivers to see the roadway and roadsides, therefore, when going out on the road in such weather, one should not forget about a sense of responsibility," the warning emphasizes.
