The serviceman who died in the snow avalanche was due to be discharged from military service in 10 days

Azerbaijani army serviceman Ruslan Hamidov, who died in an avalanche in the Gadabay district, was due to be discharged from military service in 10 days.

As BAKU.WS reports, his relatives told Teleqraf about this.

R.Hamidov was from the Barda district. He was drafted for active military service in October 2023 by the district department of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription.

R.Hamidov served in one of the military units located in Gadabay. On April 1, he was supposed to complete his service and be demobilized from the army.

The deceased will be buried on March 22 at the Alley of Martyrs in the Barda district.

Note that on March 19, conscripts of the Azerbaijani army - Ruslan Hamidov and Ali Imanov were caught in an avalanche in foggy conditions. Their bodies were found on March 21.
