The myth about the benefits of several popular products has been debunked

Famous dietitian Fariha Jay debunked a common misconception about the benefits of certain foods that many consider healthy.
As reported by BAKU.WS, in an interview with Infobae, the specialist revealed the unpleasant truth about the composition of popular "diet" products.
According to Jay, muesli bars, ready-made salad dressings, flavored yogurts, canned fruits, commercial smoothies, and even dried fruits hide a danger - excessive sugar content. This hidden ingredient not only increases the risk of developing diabetes but can also contribute to the occurrence of various types of oncological diseases.
The expert also noted that excess sugar provokes inflammatory processes in the body and disrupts the healthy balance of gut microflora. The dietitian strongly recommends carefully studying the composition of products before purchasing them. As a healthy alternative, Jay advises preferring fresh fruits and dressing salads with natural lemon juice and olive oil.
