Terrible accident in Azerbaijan: four police officers killed

A criminal case has been initiated in connection with a traffic accident that killed four police officers.

As BAKU.WS reports with reference to Report, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 263.3 of the Criminal Code (violation of traffic rules resulting in the death of two or more persons). Relevant examinations have been ordered for the case.

On September 12, around 5 o'clock, a fatal traffic accident occurred in the Julfa district.

As BAKU.WS reports with reference to Report, as a result of a BMW car overturning, driven by a district resident and police officer Gudrat Guliyev, the driver and four passengers died at the scene.

It should be noted that all those killed in the accident were police officers. It is assumed that the cause of the tragedy was a slippery road due to rainy weather conditions.

An investigation into the incident is underway.
