Restaurant operations suspended in Baku

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan suspended the operation of "Khazri" restaurant in the Garadagh district of Baku due to non-compliance with fire safety rules.
According to the ministry's press service, an inspection revealed that a compressed and liquefied propane cylinder was being used in the facility's kitchen.
Furthermore, the fire alarm system was not fully installed, and the existing equipment was malfunctioning.
Additionally, documents determining the flammability group of materials used for the building's facade cladding were not provided, and the electrical system was installed in violation of the "Electrical Equipment Installation Rules."
The facility was not equipped with a fire water reservoir and internal fire hydrants. The restaurant was not fully equipped with fire extinguishers, and there was no evacuation plan. The restaurant's real estate property was not insured in accordance with the "Mandatory Insurance" law.
