Person who carried out cyber attacks on women's pages on "Tik-Tok" and "Instagram" CAUGHT

The Main Department for Combating Cybercrime of the MIA continues operational and preventive measures to ensure the safety of citizens on social networks and other online platforms.
According to information from the MIA, during the next operation, 22-year-old Rashad Mammadov was detained for cyber attacks on pages of women using "Tik-Tok", "Instagram" and similar social networks, stealing their personal information.
Investigations have determined that R.Mammadov added unethical sound effects and information to videos and photos belonging to victims using special programs, and shared them on his own pages on social networks. After contacting the people whose images were shared, R.Mammadov informed them that he had created fake pages in their names and demanded various amounts of money in exchange for deleting the compromising profiles while making threats.
Criminal cases have been initiated in the Main Department under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code regarding these facts. R.Mammadov has been involved in the investigation as an accused person and a preventive measure of detention has been chosen during the investigation period.
Measures continue to identify other victims affected by his illegal actions.
