Pedestrian caused a terrible accident in Baku - VIDEO

In the Khazar district of the capital, an incident occurred two days ago on the Gala-Pirallahi road, when a pedestrian managed to avoid being hit by a car at the last moment.
As reported by BAKU.WS, information about this incident was distributed by the Intelligent Transport Management Center (ITMC) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).
As noted, despite the pedestrian's escape, the accident resulted in injuries to one of the drivers, damage to passenger cars and road infrastructure, and caused a serious traffic jam on the road. Drivers and pedestrians are strongly advised to exercise increased vigilance on the roads and not create emergency situations.
According to the requirements of the law "On Road Traffic," pedestrians are obliged to move on the sidewalk, pedestrian path, road shoulder, and in their absence - on the bicycle path without creating obstacles for cyclists, or along the outer edge of the roadway on roads with a dividing strip. In the absence of a crossing or intersection in the visibility zone, in areas without a dividing strip and barriers with good visibility in both directions, a pedestrian should cross the roadway at a right angle to the edge of the road.
Drivers are required to operate their vehicle at a speed not exceeding the established limits, taking into account road conditions. The driver must choose such a distance depending on the speed and traffic conditions to be able to avoid a collision in case of a sudden decrease in speed or unexpected stop of the vehicle ahead.
