Medications for a number of diseases will be included in the health insurance package in Azerbaijan
After the introduction of mandatory health insurance (MHI), the population's access to medical services has increased.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to APA, this was stated by the chairman of the State Agency for Mandatory Health Insurance Zaur Aliyev at the international conference "Pharmaceutical Industry of Azerbaijan: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow".
He noted that the costs of medications, anesthesia, and other items used in outpatient medical care are covered by the service package.
"It is planned to include medications for cardiovascular and respiratory system diseases in the MHI package," - emphasized Zaur Aliyev.
