It has been revealed how long the cold weather will last in Azerbaijan

As of 15:30 on February 8, precipitation and wind continue across Azerbaijan.
This is reported by Oxu.az with reference to the National Hydrometeorological Service of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.
Intermittent snow is falling in Kalbajar, Lachin, Dashkasan, Gadabay, Tovuz, Sheki (Kishchay), Oghuz, Gabala, Zagatala (Alibey), while rain is observed in Tartar, Ganja, Shamkir, Shamakhi, and Astara. Light snow is also observed in Baku and some parts of the Absheron Peninsula.
According to the orange warning, northwestern wind gusts in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula reach up to 27 m/s.
According to the "Oil Rocks" station, wave height in the open sea reached 4.8 m.
Fog is observed in Zagatala, Sheki, Shamakhi, Lerik, Dashkasan, Goygol, Shamkir, Tovuz, Aghstafa, and Ganja, with visibility reduced to 1,000 m.
The air temperature in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula was 2 degrees above zero, in lowland areas and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic - 5 degrees above zero, in mountainous areas - 5 degrees below zero, and in high mountains - 11 degrees below zero.
The precipitation and wind observed across the country will continue until February 10.
