In Baku, a 22-year-old man extorted money from a girl by threatening to publish her photos

A man suspected of blackmailing a woman using her photographs has been detained in Baku.

BAKU.WS was informed about this by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to the department, a 19-year-old resident of the capital contacted the police with a statement that someone was threatening to distribute her personal photographs on social networks. The perpetrator had already received 100 manats from the girl and was demanding another 300 manats.

As a result of police operations, the suspect in extortion by means of threats was identified and detained - 22-year-old Ilkin Alibeyli.

A criminal case has been initiated on this fact, and the investigation continues.
