In Azerbaijan, about a thousand government websites are at risk of cyberattacks

In January-August 2025, 976 security vulnerabilities were identified in the information resources of government agencies. For each case, appropriate notifications were sent to take measures to eliminate them.

As BAKU.WS reports with reference to Report, this figure exceeds the results of the same period last year by 78%.

It is noted that in August of this year alone, vulnerabilities were found in 46 resources, which is 55% less compared to the same month a year earlier.

Overall, in 2024, security vulnerabilities were identified in 857 information resources of government agencies, which is 23% more than in 2023.
