Azerbaijan has imposed restrictions on meat product imports from four countries due to disease outbreaks. According to Baku.ws, citing the Food Safety Agency of Azerbaijan (FSAA), the following outbreaks have been reported: - Peste des petits ruminants (sheep and goat plague) in the Zala region of Hungary - Bluetongue disease in the Warmian-Masurian administrative district of Poland - Foot-and-mouth disease in the Zawiya district of Libya - Highly pathogenic avian influenza in Nigeria's Plateau state In response, the agency has implemented temporary restrictions on the import and transit of cattle, small ruminants, poultry, and their products from these regions. A request has also been sent to the State Customs Committee to take appropriate measures.
