Holiday preparations for Novruz ended in fire: family left homeless

A private residential house completely burned down in Jalilabad district.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, the incident was recorded in the territory of Sabirabad village, in a house belonging to Rashid Safarov.

The fire suddenly broke out in a two-story 10-room house with a total area of 220 sq. m (110 sq. m on each floor). Employees and equipment of the Jalilabad district unit of the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived at the scene, but they were unable to save the house - it burned down completely.

According to preliminary data, the fire started due to an electric stove that was left on for a long time. Sweets for the Novruz holiday were being prepared in it.

No one was injured as a result of the incident.

An investigation into this fact is underway.
