Fire in Yasamal - residents evacuated

The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) hotline 112 received information about a fire in a residential building in the Yasamal district of Baku.

This was reported to Baku.ws by the ministry.

According to the information, forces from the State Fire Protection Service of the MES were immediately dispatched to the scene.

Thanks to the prompt intervention of firefighters, the fire on the sixth floor of the eight-story residential building was quickly contained.

As a result of the incident, flammable structures in one room and balcony of a three-room apartment with a total area of 80 square meters, as well as household items covering an area of 25 square meters, were burned.

For safety reasons, 9 residents were evacuated.

The majority of the apartment was protected from the fire.
