The arrest term of presenter Azer Zahid, detained by police during an operation related to his TikTok activities, has been extended.

As APA reports, today the relevant submission was considered in the Narimanov District Court.

At the proceeding chaired by Judge Gultekin Asadova, a decision was made to extend Azer Zahid's arrest term by three months.

The arrest term of TikToker Rovshan Tahmazov, known by the nickname Rosh life, who was detained as part of the operation related to his TikTok activities, has also been extended.

At the proceeding chaired by Judge Hafiz Kamranov in the Narimanov District Court, a decision was made to extend his detention period by three months.

Note that in December last year, the Main Directorate for Combating Cybercrime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs initiated a criminal case against Azer Zahid and other individuals under articles related to money laundering obtained through criminal means and organizing online gambling on the internet.

As part of the criminal case, Azer Zahid, his assistant Rovshan Tahmazov, as well as brothers Emin and Rashad Abdullayev, were arrested after being found guilty of the specified acts.
