Doctors in Azerbaijan who will receive additional payments

Work is underway to expand the range of medical services.

As Baku.ws reports with reference to APA, Isa Aliyev, advisor to the chairman of the board of the State Agency for Mandatory Health Insurance, said this at a meeting of the Milli Majlis Health Committee on the topic "Primary healthcare services: Current situation, work done, problems and solutions."

He noted that the goal is to expand the number of primary medical services contained in the service package from today's level to 150 within the next 5 years: "As part of the pilot project being implemented in Barda, the number of these services will be increased to 83. Maternal and child health is our priority. Therefore, it is planned to increase the motivation of doctors. Doctors will receive bonuses for registering pregnant women and conducting healthy deliveries. This will also serve as an incentive for doctors."
