Defacto sold a product to a customer for 5 manats more - fined 4 thousand

In Baku, the "Defacto" retail chain was fined a large amount.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to "Qaynarinfo", the State Service for Antimonopoly Control and Consumer Market Supervision under the Ministry of Economy issued a fine protocol against the "Defacto" store operating in the "Gənclik Mall" shopping center in the Narimanov district of Baku.
An administrative protocol was drawn up against the "Defacto" store under Article 447.0.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (deception of consumers in small amounts by persons selling goods or providing services to the population regarding the size, weight, calculation of goods (services), as well as consumer properties or quality), and the case was sent to court.
In court, it was revealed that at the "Defacto" store, clothing was being sold at the checkout for 44.99 manats, while the price tag indicated a cost of 39.99 manats.
The store management was found guilty of committing an administrative offense under Article 447.0.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses and fined 4000 manats.
