Bodies of Azerbaijani army servicemen caught in snow avalanche found

The bodies of conscripts of the Azerbaijani army - privates Hamidov Ruslan Rustam oglu and Imanov Ali Tariel oglu, who were returning from their place of service located in Gadabay district and got caught in a snow avalanche in foggy weather conditions, have been found.

As BAKU.WS reports, this is stated in a joint statement by the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan.

"The leadership of the Ministry of Defense expresses deep condolences to the families and loved ones of our servicemen who died in the line of duty, and wishes them patience.

May Allah have mercy on them!", - the information states.

It should be noted that despite unfavorable weather conditions in the mountainous area with difficult terrain, necessary search operations were immediately initiated to locate our servicemen.

Forces, resources, and special equipment of the relevant units of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and the contractor company of the State Agency of Automobile Roads of Azerbaijan were involved in the search and rescue operations.
