Azerbaijan increased defense and national security spending by almost 49%

In the first quarter of this year, expenditures on defense and national security in the state budget of Azerbaijan were executed at 120.8%, or 2 billion 27.9 million manats.

As reported by the Ministry of Finance, this is 48.6%, or 663.4 million manats, more compared to the same period last year.

During the reporting period, expenditures on defense and national security accounted for 25% of actual expenses.
