Attention drivers: important message from the traffic police

Attention drivers: important message from the traffic police
Society 44

The Main Department of Road Police (MDRP) has addressed individuals engaged in passenger transportation.

This was reported to BAKU.WS by the MDRP.

It is noted that in recent days, due to sharp weather changes in many regions of the country, especially in areas with heavy precipitation, traffic on roads covered with mud and that have become slippery has been significantly hindered:

"In these difficult conditions, road safety issues become particularly important.

Drivers, especially those engaged in passenger transportation, are asked to carefully assess road conditions before traveling to areas with heavy precipitation, particularly on roads covered with mud and that have become slippery. In conditions created by mud and precipitation, it is extremely important not to exceed the speed limit and to drive with caution. In such situations, vehicle control becomes difficult, and the risk of accidents increases.

Individuals with insufficient driving experience are advised to refrain from traveling in adverse weather conditions."

The MDRP statement notes that if any difficulties arise on the road, drivers should immediately contact nearby road patrol service officers.

The MDRP reminds once again that every driver should check weather conditions and road conditions before departure, and only drive when conditions are safe. Depending on weather conditions and road conditions, drivers should be attentive and responsible, strictly following traffic rules. This is a necessary step to ensure the safety of both the driver and passengers.
