An armed masked robber attacked a pawnshop in Baku

A masked man committed an armed robbery on a pawnshop in the Narimanov district of Baku.

As BAKU.WS reports, this was announced by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The perpetrator threatened to kill two female employees of the pawnshop if they did not hand over the money.

As a result of operational search activities conducted by officers of the Narimanov District Police Department, 30-year-old Savalan Balabeyli, suspected of committing the crime, was detained.

He was identified thanks to recordings from the facility's surveillance cameras.

A criminal case has been initiated on this fact, and an investigation is underway.
